Realistic Full Body Grouse Dummy with Head, Wings & Tail.

The Original Clone Dead Bird Dummy range is designed specifically to stimulate a gundog’s three primary hunting senses – sight, smell, and touch. This dummy bridges the gap between standard training and real-life scenarios, preparing dogs for difficult game bird retrieves on shooting days.

Sight: This super-lifelike gundog training dummy features a true-to-life body size and shape with the added realism of a head, wings, and tail, which mimics a shot game bird whether being retrieved from the ground or used as a visual mark. Smell: Carefully selected fabrics ensure maximum scent retention. By attaching the dummy to a game bag or training vest, familiar scents are carried to help the dog's recognition of the retrieve. Touch: The Dead Bird Dummy offers the opportunity to train in a low-pressure environment to overcome the issue of correct pick-up, carry, and delivery. Dogs learn to think about mouth placement and develop skills to handle flapping wings, a floppy head, and tail feathers.

The high-definition photographic canvas print of real-life game bird feather patterns is designed with the dog and handler in mind. The advanced marking visibility and realistic appeal help with training convenience. The real-feel, scent-absorbent, robust fabric adds realism to the types of game birds the dog may be retrieving in the field.
